Death is in the Nexus again, taking his downtime to scan another soul with his stones. He decides to ask a question.

"Dear Sages. If you were to go shopping for, or inherit a magic item. What sort of item would you want, and what magical ability would you like it to have?"

Kristoff smiles slightly.

"There was a time when it was quite important for me to have wards for a room that could contain a sorcerously-talented demigod.

"Why would you want to hold a demigod?"

"Because at the time, he had not been listening when we discussed what was and was not appropriate behavior in public, and I did not want any civilians harmed. The demigod in question was my then-eight-year-old brother. We soon came to terms. If he wanted things, I would make them or buy them for him. If somehow I could do neither, he could learn to live without it."

"What did he do that was so inappropriate?"

"I think you already know my answer," Ali points out with a smile. "A magic wand that turns things into chocolate."

"Very dangerous in the wrong hands, lest a loved one become a sundae topping in a fit of cravings."

"I would be extremely careful," she promises. "I'd only use it for good."

"I believe you.. despite it being chocolate."

Julie's lazing about in the Nexus. She likes their computers. "Some sort of inhibitor bracelet or somethin'?"

Well... she was certainly lovely.

"To inhibit what, exactly?" he asked with a friendly smile.

"My incredible ability to fuck things up," she says matter of factly with a silly little grin.

He quirks a brow. "Pardon? Did something happen?" She's grinning, so maybe she's kidding but perhaps something bad had happened recently.

Saft thinks about this, she doesn't really need any magical items but on occasion she might have to go steal one or two.

"Maybe something that could help me track down someone quicker...Or maybe something that'd give me the ability to travel to places a whole lot quicker when I need to be out of somewhere real quick."

Those are excellent ideas. What sort of item would they be? A ring? A cloak?"

"Eh Don't really like jewellery that much, But the cloak sounds like a spiffy idea!"

"I'm rather fond of mine. They may not be fashionable in all worlds, but they do make a statement."

"A special protectful mask. Like the one you have." Protectful is too a word, he'd say, and how dare anyone stop him from making up fancy new words.

He chuckles. "Perhaps we could get some sort of protec...ful charm put on the one I gave you."

"How good is yours?"

[onapale_horse]

"Mine completely protects only my head. My cloak protects my body and my gloves and shoes protect my extremities. I would not be able to find an enchantment to make it as powerful as mine as that is VERY powerful magic indeed, however I could probably find a simple enchantment if you tell me what you'd like."
