My Name is Jarl: Cross-Country (19 work-safe images, yowza!)

Well, journal, those slaves were frustrating. They wouldn't work for me, wouldn't follow me, and I wouldn't even know where to sell them. So I took the only valuable things they had on them...

Mugging slaves, a new low. )

You're sure, journal? Even without a shirt?

Do not be overly concerned by appearances. All will be as it should. ٭

Really? That's comforting.

...he won't be taking his pants off, will he?

...Slaves are surprisingly disobedient. And now elves fall from the sky? That's alarming.

Although it is very funny.

I'd join at least one of the guilds. If you're going to rampage over people's toes, better find out whose they are first. This 'Caius' sounds like he's up to something big. It might be worth your while playing along until you can find out what.

Well, I got their stuff, at least? That's something.

It is kind of funny, isn't it? Heh. I wonder if he was related to Fargoth.

Alright, which guilds should I join?

It's the least you could get for sparing their lives.

Probably, elves are all related to each other... Who is Fargoth?

The Fighters' Guild, for a start. Is the Thieves' Guild good for anything?

You remember Fargoth, magic journal, you were there!

Fighters' Guild, yes! I thought it was a natural choice, but then I thought, maybe too natural. But I'm glad you agree.

I'm not sure about the Thieves' Guild. If there's one in town, I'll have to find it before I can join. Although I do like taking things that nominally belong to other people, so it might be a good idea to hang around with other people of like interest...

Stay away from the temple, remember the rewards we talked about, with the daedra .

Join the fighters guild for sure. At least you're friends won't hurt you with cookies, and the insults...we'll have to work on. I'm sure you're not the only one who was outrun by a huge bug thing.

Maybe you should stay away from the half-naked guy.

Aw, no temple? I was gonna see if they're one of those sects with ritual drinking. They don't like daedra there?

You think? Why should I stay away from him?

Probably not usually the temples are to the aedra or the nine divines.

Well he's a half-naked... and his quests will probably involve... complicated politics and/or physical contact.

Right, right, aedra.

...which ones are they, again?

I have an axe, which is a good answer to physical contact, and also a good answer to complicated politics.
