"Some prosciutto." River's grinning, and it's even in her eyes today. "'N a Christmas tree."

"Delish!" he exclaims. "Not the Christmas tree..." he chuckles.

"I ate it as soon as I unwrapped it. And the tree was great, even if it was golden instead of green. Dollar stores have funky trees." She laughs, acting as though a little two foot tall artificial tree and five dollar's worth of fancy sandwich meat are gold and jewels.

"Probably for the best. Stuff like that doesn't keep very well if you leave it unrefrigerated. That stuff is the bomb."

Rain can relate, he takes pleasure in the simple things.

"Well, we've got a fridge, but why wait?" She tucks her hair behind her ear, then gently slaps Dog in the face as the big animal romps up with a worn but unslobbered on dog toy in her mouth. "Have you ever seen that Spanish ham? The stuff that's only cured with salt? They claim it's even better than prosciutto."

He shakes his head. "I've heard of it, but I've never tried it." His stomach growls. "But now I'm totally hungry."

"Hi girl." he says to Dog.

River laughs again. "Go eat! I gotta get to work. See you 'round."

Dog warbles happily, tail going like a propeller.

He waves. "Alright then. Take care River."

She gives a slight nod, then turns and strides for the portal to Lore, Dog bounding around her and filling the air with ghostie sounds as they go.
