"Okay. suppose you went to school, did a few dumb things, wound up not going back the next year, and spent the next few years trying to make up for the dumb things you did when you were in school. Now suppose you've gone through a program designed to help you make up for the dumb things, and you did well for awhile and graduated that program. Fast forward about ten months after you get done with the program, you're out of work due to economy crap, and you've decided enough is enough. You apply at a school. The same school, in fact, that you did the dumb stuff at. You know you'll do better and not make the same dumb choices you did the first time 'round, but other people aren't willing to give you the chance to prove that you've grown up. How do you break the news to them that you got accepted at the school?"
