Music is playing, and a Ratchet who has indeed left his body on the sands of time is leaning his butt comfortably against the arm of a human-sized couch. There's a grin on his face and memory in his optics while the melody and words continue, but then he looks up as they end.

"Who's your anti-kryptonite?"

"What's Kryptonite?" She asks. "It sounds like the planet I'm from."

Ratchet pauses and looks at the girl uncertainly, then says carefully, "It's bits of the planet Krypton. They cause trouble for a guy called Superman. So 'anti-Kryptonite' is something that makes you feel better."

He fades a little as he speaks. Kara will be able to see things through him.

Superman. That's what she had found out her cousin went by here on earth. "Do you know why they cause him trouble?" She was curious.

She rubs her eyes. She had seen through Ali's hand earlier. Were here eyes playing tricks on her again?

"It makes him sick and weak, according to the stories." He notices the eye rubbing and quickly solidifies. "Sorry. Faded a bit."

She would have to keep that in mind. "Do you think it would affect other Kryptonians the same way?"

She shook her head. "Oh no, it's alright. I thought it was my eyes. I saw through something earlier and wasn't sure how I did it. I thought I may have been doing it again."

"Well, in the stories I remember hearing it affected Superboy too. But I think he was supposed to be a clone of Superman." Ratchet scratches his head, then shakes it. "No. I'm a ghost. I'm not always solid."

"I'm Kryptonian as well. Thank you for warning me, I'll have to keep my guard up."

"A ghost? How interesting."

[random_xtras]

"You're welcome. And yeah... it can be."

[supergirlrising]

"You look like technology. I didn't know technology had spirits. Then again, anything is possible in this place it seems. I'm Kara." she introduces herself.

[random_xtras]

"I'm Ratchet. And I was a Cybertronian, who are living machines. What you're seeing right now is my spark."

[supergirlrising]

"A spark? If I touched you would I get a shock?" She had learned how to handshake but didn't know if it was appropriate for all life forms.

[random_xtras]

"No. The only way I can affect living organics is to touch them. Or maybe give them a chill up the spine if something's got me going."

[supergirlrising]

"I've never met a ghost before. Very interesting."

[random_xtras]

"We aren't that common. Most of us tend to stick to where we're supposed to be." Ratchet lifts an amused brow at the 'very interesting' comment.
