And Emily again, editing her question.

Emily has moved to a different part of the sign area and is now examining the burn on her hand, which has burst and is letting her know of its presence most strenuously.

"Okay. I guess I didn't ask my question right the first time. But I need an answer. If a man is working a minimum wage job, and his ex wife has a good job that gives her enough money for a lawyer with a good reputation and other stuff, is it right for that woman to sue her ex husband for child support for two kids who are in college? He's had a brain injury, and he doesn't remember any of his life before he woke up in the hospital a few months ago."

She frowns and licks the burn, then looks up. "If it's right we'll pay it."

"Oh yeah. And does anyone know how to get the top of a soft fried egg to cook without making the yoke hard? We told my boss what that guy was saying, and now I'm the cook as well as doing a dish washing shift."
