The Galvatron with the red badge is in the Nexus, his slender black mate at his side, and the arm that usually holds his gun bare. For a moment he studies something in his hand, and then he looks up with a gravely quizzical expression as he holds out a kidney bean sized red diamond and a yellow topaz the size of a human man's fist

"ooo...shiny..." Den's attention is on both gems, even though she knows she can't afford them right now. "how come you're selling 'em?"

That grave gaze is turned down toward her as he uses his free hand to distract Deathscream from looking as though she wants to eat the human girl. "To raise funds for the restoration of Earth and Cybertron."

"Oh..." Den's smile is apologetic, "I prolly can't afford 'em...but would you be willing to accept help in the form of knitted scarves and blankets? I can sell 'em here and all the money would go to you to help...and the ones that don't sell here could be sold elsewhere maybe?"

His brow plates raise as he goes to one knee. "Some of those blankets would be welcomed even on my Earth. But why would you do such a thing? These stones are the only means I have with which to pay for things, unless you're interested in Transformer weaponry."

[oh_what_a_story]

The shinies in the hands of metal colossi catch the attention of a grinning, blue-haired woman who pipes up with a question. "Ooh! What's their story?"

Galvatron looks at her gravely. "Beyond the fact that they were given me by a woman named Dalla for the raising of funds, I do not know."

[oh_what_a_story]

"Well, why do you need to raise funds?" She's pried stories out of more reluctant sources than this, and won't be deterred by a little density.

Galvatron checks that Deathscream is safely distracted by glowering at the sign, and then lowers himself to one knee in attempt to politely interact with the organic female at her own level. "Because Earth and Cybertron are both reeling from the effects of a recently ended war. Local sources of aid have been depleted, and so I've decided to see what I can find in the Nexus. I'm not sure why Dalla's response to my inquiry about places that will buy weapons was to ask my story and then give me these stones. But they haven't LOLd me yet, and I've learned not to look at gifts askance."

There is a hint of hopefulness and uncertainty around him that suggests he hasn't been online for very long.

"Eh, we're kinda up to our ears in gemstones," says Cut. "But I could get you a list of good places to try to sell 'em."

Galvatron brightens slightly. "That would be appreciated. Thank you."

Cut makes a call back to the Warehouse, and then nods. "Elec's on his way with a list."

Galvatron nods as he shifts slightly where he's resting on one knee. Deathscream looks at him alertly, and then resumes disadmiring the sign.
