Emerging from the portal linking her reality to the multiverse Alexa blinks in momentary confusion at the change of scenery. She doesn’t look quite herself today: for one thing the numerous crystals and mirrors that she generally wears are missing, and she isn’t smiling. Trudging over to the nearest seating area she drops onto one of the couches in a graceless flop, leaning her head against the back of it and closing her eyes with a weary sigh. If not for all the noise in this corner of the Nexus she would happily curl up and go to sleep, but the tired teenager soon decides that sleep is a long ways in coming and reluctantly sits up straighter. She might as well ask a question or three while she is here.

“How do you define love and lust? Where is the line drawn between them? Does social rank and race have any affect on who you love?” Alexa stops and seems to think about something, then hurriedly adds, “I’m talking about romantic love here, not platonic.”

Another pause, and then she tacks on a couple more questions to make up for lost time. “Is it possible to be homesick for a place that you have never seen with your own eyes? How do you deal with homesickness?"
