*Sitting over there, hiding quite effectively behind a faint but alarming tan, is someone who hasn't been here for a while.
The tan's unusual for him: he's well-known for being pale and interesting, after all. Or possibly pale and worrying (the discerning visitor can take their pick). It doesn't look quite right, as if he's had a coffeepot upended over his black curls, and it's quite likely that in a few scant days it will be faded back to his more usual pallor. His blue eyes glance sharply about him from under the cast shadow of his hat brim.*
