"Don't remember!" says a tiny scrap of metal and crossed blue optics cheerfully. "I was too drunk!"

He chuckles, squatting down look at her better. "I don't remember much of Christmas cause of that."

Those crossed optics widen. "Squishies can get overcharged?"

[notatengu]

"Mmhm!" He says with a nod. "We slur and walk funny and everything."

"But... I've seen squishie food." She scowls, suspecting that he's trying to pull one on her.

"But have you seen squishies after they've hand a few cups of eggnog and rum?" He says with a grin.

[random_xtras]

"Nooo. What's eggnog and rum?" Scowl turns to deep frown, though the expression is different on her little alien face.

Rowen is just absolutely charmed by the little creature. He kneels down. "A drink that overcharges humans."

"How?" She buzzes up to be at a level with his eyes, still frowning intensely.

[notatengu]

"We drink it and the chemicals react, and we get fuzzy." He says simply. "Would you like New Years money?"

"Money?" She's distracted, but then scowls again. "You trying to LOL me?"

[notatengu]

"No, I'm giving you New Years money. It's what we do for kids in my country."

[random_xtras]

If she were a hen she'd be ruffling her feathers now. "I'm not a kid... can I give it to my kid?"

"Ahh! Sorry, sorry. Yes you can." He pulls out a 500 yen coin from his pocket and holds it out to her. "It's not much. Enjoy though."

"Oooo!" Her optics cross even more as she glomps it. "Shiny!"
