Here's a little android girl pulling a big garden cart that's loaded down with holiday poinsettias. She stops by the sign and smiles.
"Hello, everyone. I am here again at the holiday season with many of the poinsettias that I was collecting last year to keep them from being thrown away. They are now being in bloom again, and so I am looking to 'adopt' them out for the holidays."
"It is working in this way. If someone is making a deposit, then they will be given a poinsettia and a care sheet on taking care of them. If they are then returning them after the holidays then the deposit is returned along with a box of cookies for taking good care of them."
"So, does anyone want a holiday poinsettia?"
"Or, if you are not, what is the worst rainstorm that you can remember seeing?"
((Plant-chan has made up a slightly complex sign to help people from various worlds and times sort out what the deposit to adopt a poinsettia is. It's actually fairly cheap, at about $10 a plant (if your pup is from 2008 Earth) to 'rent' one for the season. The plants are not LOLed, but if they die on you you don't get the deposit back or any cookies. ;) ))
