"I think everyone's wanted revenge." Ali folds her hands on the top of her cane, watching Sweeney calmly. "But it doesn't make a person feel better. Not really. Not that there's much convincing someone bent on it, though, is there?"

"No, I suppose not." Sweeney laughs bitterly. "Ruined my life, or what was left of it."

"So it has, and now you're here. What now?"

Gee, color her surprised.

"Well, you might be better off trying to sort out the future than you are dwelling on the past."

"I'm dead. It doesn't matter." He smirks. "Care for a haircut? I'm a barber."

He takes out his straight razor.

She does look a little shaggy today. Very perceptive of him.

"Yes, I know who you are. But not at the moment, thank you. And if you're dead and it doesn't matter, why are you here?"

"I haven't a clue."

He frowns. "You know who I am, do you? Who am I, then?"

"You prefer to go by Sweeney Todd. Hasn't anyone explained this place to you yet?"
