It's a man. On a couch. And over there, another man, on a couch. They could almost be related, though the golden haired one looks human at least. The other one has a few feathers and a long, furry tail, and he's the only one who bothers with a question ( Read more... )

"Sometimes." It might be noticed this fellow has a pair of toddlers with him on leashes.

Quick glance to the toddlers, and then he dismisses them. "How were you forced into it?"

A raised eyebrow at that. "First off, these two don't count. They're mine. As for the others? They're family. I wouldn't call it forced. I'm never forced into anything I don't want to do."

Mikhail doesn't really care, but Ciel is not going to be ignored so easily. She heads towards the strange man as far as the least will let her, babbling something insistently that would likely only make sense if one is used to interpreting Russian from someone with a speech impediment.

"Never, hm? Well, aren't you special." He's amused, but it's more friendly than anything.

The little girl is looked at again, and he lifts his feet off the floor. No touchy!

Blues just shrugs.

The next unintelligible comment from Ciel has a questioning tone to it. She'll just blink up at Kuja for a moment. And then she spots it. Oooh! Hey!! The little girl points and babbles something excitedly to her dad.

"Yes, Ciel. He has a tail," says Blues.

The tail curls up on the couch too, out of reach. Hopefully. "Yes, thank you for letting me know." Sarcasm, yay.

The girl babbles something that might be a 'you're welcome', and tries to get a better look at the tail before tugging on her kiddie leash.

Blues, however, intends to keep her just out of grabbing range.

Mikhail, meanwhile, has spotted the other guy over there and tries to head that way.

It's too hard to ignore them now! After a moment: "Leashes would be a good idea, but I can't see how I'd get them on."

"These fasten in the back, but I figure another year or two and they'll be able to escape from them. Hopefully, by then, they'll be old enough not to stick random things here in their mouths. I don't need to explain why I took the kids on a walk and returned with a pair of kittens..."

"That's not what I meant at all."

He won't ask about the kittens thing. He must have heard that wrong. >_>

Blues chuckles, and steps over a leash as Ciel suddenly runs in a circle around his legs. "What I meant is that if you tried putting a leash on someone older, you'd have to use something they couldn't unhook or cut. Or you could find a way so they'd want to stay, which would be more effective."

"Yes, I understood you the first time. Getting it on in the first place would be impossible... as much as I want to."

"Or at the very least extremely undignified," Blues replies with a grin. He's literally wrestled younger siblings into things before... though not into leashes yet.

"I said impossible, I mean impossible. It would take at least five people to hold him down, I think."

"Then you're stuck with finding ways to make him want to stay."

"That's already been taken care of, luckily."
