Oh look. One of the Convenient Nexus Armchairs near the Sign is occupied by a young man with green hair, resting metallic-looking forearms that end in obviously human, but wickedly clawed hands on the arms of the chair, studying the Nexusites as they go by. One would think he'd be rather conspicuous, what with his obviously non-human arms and the clashing tones of his outfit against his hair (really, burgundy and gold does not go with green...), but somehow he manages to go perfectly unnoticed.

Although that could be because he actually put a hole through the top of the Sign on his arrival and that's drawing people's attention instead. Don't worry, it'll fix itself soon enough.

Soon enough, though, he gets up and paces over to stand in front of the sparking, disgruntled Sign, eyeing the Nexus placidly with one blue eye. (The other doesn't seem to be able to open for some reason, but he's not too bothered by it apparently.) And standing there is where he asks his question.

"Have you ever thought you could become a god, if you tried hard enough?"

...Yes, he's a bit of a megalomaniac. But he's a nice enough young man. Really. Ignore the fact that his question gave him a crazed grin and he just turned and tried to put ANOTHER hole through the Sign.
