Elisa's back in the Nexus after a bit of a long absence.  Events in her own reality, most notably the adoption of several hatchlings from another clan as well as the impending birth of her niece, along with all kinds of other stuff common to super-heroes guardians like her.

So she's sitting on a convenient Nexus couch, looking a bit thoughtful.  "

"Well, my parents used to let me play whenever I wanted, on my birthday. You could try something like that."

"Not a bad idea," she says. "Probably what I'll end up doing."

"Thanks." He flashes a smile. "The early birthdays are easy, though."

[elisa_garg]

She laughs. "No kidding. Few more years and it'll be some impossibly hard to find doll or something that I have to go hunting for."

"You might luck out and have her mostly want cake," he offers hopefully.

"Now that, that I could handle."

[almost_adonis]

"Yeah, it's hard to go wrong with a sweet tooth."

[elisa_garg]

She laughs. "At least until the dentist bill."

[almost_adonis]

"Isn't that what baby teeth are for?" he jibes irreverently.

Elisa laughs, realizing she walked right into that trap. "Okay, point."

Alured grins, enjoying his rhetorical victory.

"You mean we stopped?"

Here Alured, have a mommy with your younger self.

Cue looking back and forth. "...I'm usually better at picking up on this kind of thing. Heh."

Ali grins. "What, the color scheme didn't give it away? You must be tired."

[elisa_garg]

She chuckles. "I'm pretty used to people coming in different colors. Though the nose shoulda knowsed."

"Oh, there are a lot of green people where you're from?"
