Aion's Using The Nexus As a Living Room...

Aion is sitting on a Convenient Nexus Couch, with a equally convenient coffee table. There's a movie night assortment of snacks spread out on the table, and an old Flash Gordon serial is playing on a Convenient Nexus Monitor. "Guilty pleasures, do you have them? And if so, what are they?"

"Yes. Dark chocolate, and certain novels without a great deal of literary merit among them."

"You'd be amazed at how many novels there are that were once considered to have no literary merit but which are now considered classics," Aion said. "What are your favorite novels?"

"Adventure books like The Three Musketeers. Books that have the unique standing of being considered to be classics by some people and still often thought of as lacking in literary merit." And that's just what he is willing to admit to.

"Why do you consider your adventure novels to be a 'guilty' pleasure?"

"Uh, I'm seventeen and I still read comic books. Does that count? Oh, and there are all these really cheesey action movies I keep in my closet."

"It counts if you feel that a seventeen year old should not be reading comics," Aion said. "I wouldn't know--one of my housemates is over a hundred, and she still reads them."

"What action movies are in your collection?"

"Whoo, ah, okay, let's see, there's Kill Bill, Grindhouse, Pulp Fiction, Kung Fu Hustle, both Conan movies, Karate Kid, Lethal Weapon, Terminator, Smokey and the Bandit, Predator, Alien, Aliens, all three Mad Max movies, Escape from New York, The Thing, Rambo, Die Hard, Commando, Last Action Hero, Drunken Master, The Matrix Trilogy, Indiana Jones Trilogy, both Star Wars trilogies, a lot of James Bond movies, The Wrath of Kahn, Highlander..." Eddie takes a moment to catch his breath.

"And that's just the tip of the iceburgh."

The odd pair of little reploids exchange identical glances and then look to Aion. "Doritos," they say in unison.

"Have some, if you like," Aion said, indicating one of the bags on the table. "I can gaurantee nothing is loled. Why would Doritos be a guilty pleasure?"

Middy makes a ^_^ face and grabs the bag. "Thank you!"

"Well, the humans where we used to work didn't like wasting good human food on the lab equipment, so we weren't supposed to have them," Techno says.

"The humans where you're from seem to have issues," Aion said dryly.

"I guess that nowadays that'd be, well, eating since it's kind of a waste of time, food, and money for me."

Ed flops down onto a chair.

[sinner01]

"Well, I suppose if you ate your weight in food every day, then it would be a waste of food and possibly money--but eating just for the taste inconveniences neither your wallet nor the children starving in the country of your choice."

Ed shrugs. "While I do sometimes eat things just for the taste--or when Al decides to use me as taste tester when he tries making something new--, I usually just eat as a social thing."

Speaking of social, Aion nods to the food on the table. "Shader made the buffalo wings, so I can't gaurantee their edibility. Everything else is safe however," Aion said. "Any other guilty pleasures?"
