"I'm not sure. I'm fairly certain they didn't want to be murdered by me in the first place, though."

"Well. Yes, probably not, but not all the dead are restless. Perhaps an oracle could set your mind at ease before you make the attempt?" This is Ali earnestly trying to be helpful, because her extemely overactive imagination can see a very very bad ending here.

"If I bring them back, and they don't want to be back, I wouldn't have any major problems killing them again."

Kal-L gives the stranger with the insignia of his Earth-One counterpart a skeptical look. "That's... a pretty tall order."

The hairs on the back of his neck stand up, but he does not attack. He cannot remember why he hates Superman.
