It's a Peter Parker! Who is lying upside down on a couch!

"Okay, anyone else get a sense of impending doom when a relative offers to introduce you to a girl with a 'wonderful personality'. Anyone?"

Man, there's nothing wrong with a wonderful personality. Hell, I'd rather a wonderful personality than a pretty face, if it's got to be one or the other.

"You are aware I'm using 'wonderful personality' as a euphemism right?"

Yeah, I get it. I'm saying, wait until you meet her. Unless she actually has a crappy personality, you could do worse in people to hang out with. And who knows, maybe the two of you share an interest, or she's into something cool you can pick up, or you can get her into something you like.

"Not really. You could get lucky this time." Faye's just turned up not too far from him. "What do you know about this girl?"

"Her name's Mary Jane Watson, and that's pretty much it."

Faye... may have a little meta knowledge about this. "Like I said, you could get lucky."

"Meh, the odds are not on my side though. I tend to have the worse luck imaginable."

"Only because my grandparents think I should 'settle down and get married'. Because that went so well the first two times... but you look a little too young to have to worry about that. I wouldn't worry, if I were you, meeting new people is fun."

"Give it a shot,' Steph smiled. "If it doesn't work out, did you really loose anything?"

Hunter O'nion, human recently turned cyborg, looks down at Peter.

"I've actually never had a relative try that with me and likely with the way I look now it'll never happen, period, but sometimes the ones with the 'wonderful personalities' are the better ones. I spent half of high school trying not to get tossed into dumpsters by football jocks, so you can imagine the luck I had with the female population. The 'mean high school girls' is kinda cliché, I know, but a lot of them were pretty...and a lot of them had the smarts and personalities of pet rocks."

He shrugs. "Eventually, you get to the point where personality matters a lot more than looks... So unless the girl your relative is trying to hook you up with is a complete ogre or has severe hygiene issues, you might want to at least give her a chance. You never know what good might come out of it and no one's saying you have to get serious with her, right?"
