The way Zorne's acting right now, there are Amazonians less harmless than her. Victor's pretty assuredly the least harmless person she'll encounter today. "Did you do it? You did, or you wouldn't be apologizing!" Ooh, have fun with that logic.

She worked her jaw silently, trying to get over the shock of it. Then: "N-no. No way. I don't even know... I... please don't hurt me?"

Zorne glared, readying her claw. A moment later, she lowered it again. "They would have killed you. You didn't do it."

She nodded vigorously. "That's me! I'm an easily killable and puny organic."

If Victor couldn't answer one question, maybe Zorne would have better luck with the other one. "Why would someone kill my friends? They never did anything to hurt anyone." That may be a lie.

"Some people're rotten. I'm really sorry that happened to you." She looked down at her hands, shifted from foot to foot.

"It isn't your fault. I'm going to get whoever did it anyway. If they want to be rotten to me, then I'll be rotten right back." She isn't normally like this, really. "They'll find out what happens if you do bad things to a Sepperin."

She nodded, face pinkening. She didn't know how to react to that. It was a social situation she was entirely unprepared for. "I hope you feel better."
