"WHA-?!!" A portal opens in the ceiling, dumping about a ton of seawater mixed with crude oil onto the Nexus floor. The black crud spreads out and settles, revealing a figured covered from head to toe in it. The very very dirty Prince of Atlantis gets up, wiping as much of it out of his eyes as he can before trying to get quickly out of the puddle

Ali takes in the scene with quiet resignation. She knew this was going to happen.

But "I told you so" doesn't help, so instead she wades through the puddle to Namor. Without a word she picks him up and carries him away from the crude oil, only putting him down when they're away from it. She's clearly worried, and working hard to keep from saying all those unhelpful things she's thinking.

Eventually she manages a calm-sounding "What happened?"

He's too tired to really even protest at being picked up, and his gills are opening and closing like a fish out of water. He chokes once he's put down, spitting out black crud and looking up at her exhaustedly.

"Beemer and his gang..destroyed the oil rig."

And now she's angry--at Beemer, not Namor. Right now, she's going to focus on washing off his gills. Yay for bottled water and tissues.

"Would you like me to deal with them?"

He coughs, wiping it away from his eyes and trying to get some of it off his body. He shakes his head.

"I'll do it. Just..after we evacuate Atlantis."

You'll need some way to relieve the pressure on the reservoir, and a means of filtration.

"Relieve the pressure, and filtration. I think we can handle the pressure but we may need help with filtration."
