Broadcast PINpoints in, and then the small Transformer simply falls over backwards. His armor is scorched all over, his joints are sparking, the LED screen in his chest is broken, and the two mini speakers are missing from his back. There's the sound of footsteps, and then a smallish G1 femme with a white with dark trim colour scheme, a face plate, and a black chevron on her forehead kneels next to him.

"Yes, I have. My creators nagged at me for weeks, but I got the job done," she says, using the scanner in her finger to look him over for damage. "What the slag did you get into... and where'd you get tech like this?"

"What was the job?" He manages to move his head a little to look at her. "I got in the way of a spark surge...knew it was a possible risk, but I went for it...kinda hurt. Heh... The tech? My people all come with it."

"Just give him a painkiller," says a voice that Broadcast may or may not hear, as it comes from a free spark who's come back to haunt his offspring for a few hours.

"Stick a gear in it, Dad." A glare is aimed in the direction of it.

"Spraypaintin' Blitzwing's..?" Broadcast wants to chuckle, but it comes out as a cough. "I was aimin' for a different outcome, don't know if it worked yet or not. I was tryin' to rescue my brother."

Broadcast happens to have exceptional hearing. Plus it helps that he just had a brush with death, himself, in more ways than one. "Painkiller? Yeah, just knock me out the rest of way, if you're gonna do that..."

Broadcast offers as much of a smile of greeting as he can when he hears Ata. "An angry 'Con spark who didn't like me interferin' with the equipment bringin' it back online."
