Confused because...he'd never expected to have this conversation with anyone so soon, and exhuberant because it meant that his wonderful hard-working Lee had final embraced the Spirit of Youth!

So saying, the confused, exhuberant, and brilliantly green-spandex clad ninja took a deep breath and exclaimed

"Have you never felt the power of youth?! The endless vitality of youthfulness that brightens even the darkest spirits?!"

Zelos is unsure of what to say. It's obvious this guy's high on something. "...no?"

Gai gapes, then recovers beaming, "Then I must show you! Together we will perform 500 thumb push ups, run 70 laps around Konoha, and embrace the beautiful sunset in all it's youthful glory!!"

[zelosman]

Zelos raises his eyebrows in disbelief. "I'd rather not...seriously...are you for real?"

Gai frowns, pensively before coming to a conlusion, "Oh, I see! Such youthful vigor! You would prefer to run 140 laps around konoha, 100 thumb push ups, and embrace the sunset and sunrise in all their Spiritual Glory?!"

[zelosman]

((OH GOD WHY))

Zelos sighs and places his hands on his hips. "It's like talking to a brick wall...okay, maybe you'll answer this: Are you high?"

((Because, Gai is full of YOUTH))

Gai is mildly confused, "Of course I am high!" he twirls around in the way only he can do that doesn't make it wimpy, but rather disturbing in its...green-spandex masculinity, "I am High off the fumes given off by the Flames of Youth that come from Hard Work and the young of the World!"

Zelos blinks, mildly amused by his behavior. But at the same time, the disturbed factor outbalances the amused.

"Okay. I'd rest at home if I were you, until you calm down a little. Non-druggies don't take this behavior lightly."

Gai frowns a bit, perplexed, "Calm? I am calm! It is simply that the flames of youth are euphoric and filled with Spiritual Energy!!!”

[zelosman]

"Euphoria, huh? Sounds like a high. Lay off the drugs before you scare everyone off." Zelos sighs, then adds, "Not like I can control your actions or anything. Just giving some advice because I'm such a good person and all~" ♥

"Well, I've got a title to live up to, anyway. 'The Great Chosen One Zelos' could always use good reputation."

Fires blazing in his eyes, Gai proclaimed passionately, "Ohohoho! You know not of what you talk!!! For truly, the FLAMES OF YOUTH ARE A BLISSFUL SENSATION!!! COME!!! YOU MUST JOIN ME IN MY DAILY LAPS AROUND KONOHA! TOGETHER, I WILL SHOW YOU THE WONDERS OF YOUTH!!"

That said, he snatched at Zelos's wrist and made a beeline for Konoha's outskirts.

"Woah, woah, WOAH!!" Zelos is dragged against his will. "You know, I'm not that much of a runner..." He smiles a little, hopeful.

Gai wilts, noticeably, for a moment before brightening, "That it fine, my youthful acquaintance!!! We Shall run at HALF SPEED IN ORDER TO STOKE YOUR FLAMES OF YOUTH!!!!!!!"

Gai continued to run, dropping his speed from 125 mph to a mere 75.

Good luck, Zelos, I would hate to be in your shoes.

[zelosman]

Zelos continues to be dragged. His legs hurt from scraping against the ground. "Look! You're ruining my clothes!!" He gestures towards his pants, that have holes near the knees.

"Seriously. I don't want to run." He prys Gai's hand off with some difficulty. "Now, if you bother me again, I won't be so submissive." ♥

Gai frowns before a moment, before he, quite visibly, comes to a singular conclusion, "Then I shall have to CARRY YOU!!!!"

Whereupon, Gai takes Zelos and tosses him onto his broad scary green back and once again takes off into the sunset around Konoha.
