"What's the biggest gamble you ever took? I don't mean actual 'gambling', like cards or games of chance, unless you really want to talk about your winnings -- I mean risk. For you, something or someone important to you, whatever

"I was caught and dragged back. So yes." There's a pause but Blues catches on to Dynamo's meaning and sighs, tapping his temple. "After that, the doc made sure I can't go far."
The idea of a cranial bomb or kinkbomb or who knew what else -- implanted by some jackass, no doubt -- is not at all a pleasant one; Dynamo's expression darkens, and he studies Blues carefully for a moment.
"Get it removed, then. Have it done here; failsafes can always be worked around. Failing that, better to die."
Ha! A bomb? Blues would actually be amused by that idea. But no, nothing like that. A few programming tweaks is more like it.
He shakes his head. "It's not quite that easy. And I can't stay here, not yet anyway." Here he gives an odd grin. "Although I haven't given up just yet either."
Blues doesn't say anything to that comment. There was no need to prove how difficult it was or explain the ins and outs of what he had already tried, after all.
"Now if you stop trying, then we have a problem. Bit of advice, though -- when you get out of there, make sure you cripple that bastard's ability to screw with people when you go."
"There's no guarantee he will without physical coercion, and that's no use in the long run because it's negative reinforcement. Believe me on that point."
"Once you get yourself loose, you'll have to make it clear to him -- in no uncertain terms -- just why what he's doing is fucked up. Whether or not he does anything about it, who knows."
"You might want to point out you'll be keeping an eye on what he does to your siblings."
"Then take them with you, and get ready for accepting that their nonunderstanding of why they aren't with their father is something that you're going to have to tackle."
Shrugging, Dynamo doesn't really look that surprised that the 'doc' in question is considered unlikely to clue in. His kind are like that, after all ... but the attempt should be made on principle, so he thinks.

Since Blues is right there in front of him, unless the place he was breaking out from is in the Nexus Dynamo's inclined to think he succeeded ...

"It's only not that easy if you don't let it. Good to hear you're still trying, though; it certainly didn't look it for a bit, there."

"Sorry 'bout that."

"Hmm, that might not go over so well, but I'll see what I can do."

And now Dynamo cocks his head questioningly.
"Might not go over so well with who? Him?"
