Sweeney, with Ali beside him and a puppy in his arms, walks into one of the busier parts of the Nexus. The puppy is a little ball of golden fuzz: a Golden Retriever, to be precise. He addresses his question to anyone who might be walking by. "What should I name this troublemaker

"Aww, he's not a troublemaker," Ali protests. "You shouldn't say things like that."

"Tell that to my pillow," Sweeney tells her. The puppy just looks cute and innocent.

"I'll get you a new pillow," she promises, "a better pillow. It will be a king amongst pillows."

[fleet_st_demon]

The puppy squirms until it's facing him and then proceeds to attempt to lick his face off. "I don't think that will be necessary."

[oh_what_a_story]

"Ohh, he's so cute!" squeals an excited woman with brilliantly blue hair, hurrying up to fawn over the pup. "What is he, a golden? Oh, they're such sweeties!"

"I've no clue," Sweeney says. "I awoke this morning rather abruptly to find this miscreant washing my face."

[oh_what_a_story]

"Aw, he doesn't look like a miscreant. You're not a miscreant, are you, hon?" That last, of course, directed at the pup. "So, what would you like to be called, huh? You wanna tell auntie Sel?"

Ali smiles, watching Sel. "He's really not. He's just excited."

Magenta tilts her head slightly. "'Dinner'?"

Sweeney eyes the woman. "I think not."

Much love for Magenta. I miss my Rocky cast.

Magenta lets out a small laugh. "Only jesting. I have an odd sense of humor." She studies the dog for a moment. "Ya know, he reminds me of someone." An evil grin crosses her face. "Call 'im 'Riff Raff'."

"He doesn't really look like a Riff Raff," Sweeney muses. "He looks like...." He shrugs.

[in_jubilation]

"Ohhhh how adorable." Jubes melts. "Male or female?"

"Male," Sweeney replies.

"Chester?" Jubilee suggested.

"Can I pet him?"

"Chester's a good name," Ali agrees with a smile. "I don't believe you two have met? Sweeney, this is my friend Jubilation Lee. Jubilee, this is of course Sweeney Todd."
