Somewhere, distantly, there is the sound of a very large explosion, followed by an even larger splash.
Said splash causes a Convenient Nexus Lake to suddenly decide it's going to overflow its banks and wash a lifeless-seeming boy into the more civilized parts of the Nexus. It's kind of like the butterfly effect, only crossing worlds this time.
The water recedes as quickly as it came, and leaves the boy motionless on the ground, drenched and (if one looks closely enough) just barely breathing. Any closer inspection, i.e. rolling him over, would reveal a gaping hole in the front of his sweatshirt - and chest - and a shard of metal stuck right into his core.
Tethys is back in the Nexus, and very nearly dead. Anyone know enough about Reploids to repair him enough for his backup systems to kick in?
