People often don't appreciate intellectual pursuits, especially if they go in unusual directions. But really new and innovative ideas tend to come from "crackpots."

Conventional thinking makes for a more docile population but doesn't do much for progress. Later, the new thing becomes so accepted that people often can't imagine life without it.

I don't get much of an opportunity for caves. Abandoned buildings are more common. ::And secure office buildings, people's homes....::
