She makes a face. "I do hope I won't exist anymore, after I'm dead. I'm doing enough existing as it is.

What use do the dead have of fame?"

"I hope I do. And it might not be useful, but I'd like it."

"Merely a matter of different philosophies, I suppose. I've done enough living. These are things you start feeling over time."

"Maybe. I could never do enough living, either."

"Older than your first ancestor." She smiles a bit.

"That doesn't help me much. Over six thousand, then?"

She grins and winks. "Isn't it impolite to ask a lady her age~?" ..she's probably older than that, yes.
