Elisa's sitting on a convenient Nexus couch, Hope in her baby carrier next to her, happily gumming on a knit Gargoyle doll.  Spread before Elisa on the table, though, are a number of books of wallpaper samples.  The patterns range from everything from teddy bears to baby ducks to, puzzling enough, Gargoyles.

She looks up, after a moment.  "Why does something that seems so simply, like wallpaper, suddenly feel like it's the most important decision in the world when you're doing it for your kid's room?"

She laughs.  "And why is it that men, regardless of species, seem genetically incapable of having anything to do with it?"

"Failing any answers to those... what're some good kids' books?"
