(no subject)
Starfire pin points into the Nexus, for the first time in awhile. What prompted her into returning to the Nexus isn't pleasant, and it's obvious on the contemplative look on her face. "Hello, Nexus. I am hoping everyone is well, yes?" she asks first.
Now it's time for the serious question. She fidgets for a few minutes, possibly wondering how to phrase her question without making somebody look bad. Starfire finally starts to ask her question.
"I have a...problem. Imagine that you have been dating somebody, and the two of you have...had these deep feelings for each other." She frowns. "And...suddenly, the person disappear for awhile, without speaking of where he went and what he is doing. And you doubt that he is in any danger, for you would have gotten a distress call if something were wrong, and you trust that he can defend himself in difficult times.
"... Or she, if you prefer, to understand better.
"Do you still worry for their well-being? And what do you do if they ever reappear? Do you become angry?"
