There is a man in the Nexus.  This is, truly, nothing new.  Truthfully, the fact that he's talking to himself, muttering various incomprehensible phrases about the various injustices that have been committed against him.

This, too, is nothing new.

Heck, even the trenchcoat, hat, and silver-faceplated mask are probably nothing new.  Or, maybe they are

"I hear nobody's makin' them right." Simple question, simple answer. Rollbar straightens up a bit, where he's lounging, and considers this guy.

"'Making them'... now there's an idea..."

"It's the best way, if you know what you're doing."

Or it would be, if he wasn't a bit down on his luck. But it's just a temporary setback!

Rollbar considers that idly. It wouldn't work with his commander's methods, but...

"Can't see how that'd work, though I'm guessing you've got a few ideas." He tilts his head slightly, enquiringly. He might be used to playing audience. Just a bit.

"After all... it nearly worked before..."

"Did it? What happened before?"

Eh, why not? It's all pretty much public record now anyway.

"Through sheer brilliance and daring, I was able to steal the bodies of four of those accursed Autobots! If my help--and I use the term loosely--had been better in eliminating them afterwards, I could have won!"

That does seem to touch a circuit. Rollbar straightens up properly and regards him more seriously. "Just their bodies?"

"Sssynthoid technology, my good robot! Transfered their minds to pathetic, easily slain human bodies, then use their robot forms as weapons! If only Drath had been smart enough to sssimply shoot them..."

Hmmm... "Not enough people pick the simple, smart option," he agrees absently. "Mindless bodies don't sound like good weapons, though. Granted, most of the ones with minds aren't much better..."

"They are if they have good pilots," he insists.

...OK, maybe if he found insanely good pilots. But Rollbar sees the problem. "And how'll you know the pilots are good enough? Or can you make those, too?"

"...Curses! Why isn't world domination ever easy?!"

Aww! He sounds a bit like the boss! So Rollbar gives him a faintly sympathetic look, quickly replaced by a cheerful smile. "Because if any idiot could do it, what'd be the point?"

He shrugs cheerfully and slouches back a bit against the wall. "'Course, there are ways'f making them, though you probably couldn't do it."
