Zero ghosts up, nonchalantly untangling a few ringlets from a random piece of Furniture as he pads over with a wry grin.

"After the first dozen times or so, it got a little annoying. Granted, being shot at all isn't exactly barrels of fun and joy ..."

*grins and waves the LOL gun, while surreptitiously taking aim with the normal one* Of course! What's summer without a little water fun?

Zero eyes Netto with great amusement; he's expecting to get squirted eventually, the question is of course when --

"Boring as hell, I'd say."

Water won't hurt, either. Not unless someone squirts you right in the eye or something. *tries to demonstrate this by squirting Zero in the chest*

And Netto succeeds! Though Zero bats at the sudden jet of water, this of course doesn't do much but liberally splash it all over himself.

Laughing, Zero mock-lunges at Netto before pulling back again.

"Not bad! Hunting anyone especially, or just spreading the summer antics around?"

*cheers and congratulates himself on his excellent aim - only to jump back with a startled yelp when Zero lunges at him* *laughs again when Zero pulls back, relieved*

Yeah, there's one guy I'd really like to nail. *glances around to make sure that no one else is within listening range* *lowers his voice and scowls angrily* Captain Hook. He broke my drumstick that Enzan gave me for my birthday.

The comment is delivered laughingly, as Zero reaches out to try and ruffle Netto's hair. His claws are barely-noticable, tiny little points; Zero's careful around human kids.

He does growl, though; deep and angry, like a disturbed lion, after Netto explains.

"... Oh, he did, did he?"

"I hope you have something more planned then nailing him with water."

Not fond of people who torment kids, is Zero.

*is actually becoming quite used to people with claws, considering how much time he spends with Nightmare, although Nightmare's better about keeping his retracted* *grins at the hair ruffling and tries to squirt Zero again*

*huffs* You bet. This gun I'm squirting you with? This is the normal gun. The other gun's gonna give him bunny ears.

This time Zero yelps and sidesteps; still, Netto's managed to at least give him a near-miss. Which means more damp -- and laughing -- Zero ;3

"Bunny ears, is it? One of those 'LOLs', I'm assuming."

Grinning toothily, Zero shakes his head.

"And real, flesh and blood ears, I'm willing to bet. I think I'll hang around to see this."

Yup! Real, live bunny ears! He deserves it! I even asked nice for my drumstick back, just like he told me to, and he still broke it!

*is more than happy to have more witnesses for Hooks (hopefully) humiliating moment* You can spot him pretty easy. He's got this really big hook instead of a hand.

"Charming. I'd take it out of his hide, but I suppose that'd be an unfair matchup."

That confirming description, plus the name, is a bit too coincidental for Zero seeing as he's actually read that book to a few people. Including Blues, for that matter.

"I don't suppose you know if a croc bit his hand off?"

Um, I think so. Yeah. I bet the crocodile got a stomach ache afterwards. Why do you ask?

Now Zero is just snickering helplessly.

"Damn, it is him -- leave to the Nexus I suppose."

"Hehe. Listen, Netto, if you haven't read it already, find yourself a good unabridged copy of Peter Pan. The book, not a movie."

"I'm willing to bet you'll find any number of interesting ways to irritate him ..."

Zero wants to mention the clock. Oh, does he want to mention the clock. But it's more fun if Netto finds that one on his own --

Zero chuckles and ruffles Netto's hair again.

"It won't kill you, you know!"

"Maybe -- if you really can't get through it -- I'll hunt up a good adaptation. But you should at least try first!"

*sighs loudly, with just a hint of preteen sulk. Still, the promise of being able to find more ways to aggravate Hook makes it very tempting...* I guess I'll give it a shot, but I'm not promising anything.
