"Oh." Ed looks vaguely ill for a moment before reminding himself that at least there's only blood involved in her meals and that people don't necessarily have to die which was more than he could say for himself.
He scrubbed at his face a bit. "At least you have a choice about if people die when you need to eat. I find it best not to think too much about just what goes into creating my food when I eat it," he mutters.
He twitches a bit, due to renewed sensitivity about being touched before wrapping his arms around her and hugging back, burying his face against her shoulder.
"S'Okay. Not something I like to talk about, for obvious reasons," he mumbles.
"Life dragging me through the wringer emotionally. Although I'm wondering if I can stick the Nexus into a corner for a time-out for inflicting a LOL on me and someone else. That's what's really fucked things up the most."
"I think I could probably use a good nervous breakdown right around now," Ed said faintly. "I don't think she realized how much that saying she didn't like being a homunculus would hurt me..."
"...Interestingly enough, I had kind of been thinking of wandering around looking for you."
Ed's looking a bit worn out, a definite change from the usual. He frowns. "Now what's happened to you?"

"Yeah, it's worn off. It's why I'm standing here as myself and not in the other person's body."
