She lifts her head and smiles; realizing that she's rather hungry. Her fingers travel to the deep pocket in her robe and she pulls out a few dollars.

"Excuse me," she says politely, meeting the man's eyes with a cheerful smile hidden behind a veil (although the smile is writ in her eyes). "What is your diner's policy... on pork?"

She was learning more and more about cultures that weren't her own. But pork was out of the question.

His eyebrows rose slightly in uncertainty. "Well, I don't usually have any. But we serve dinosaur, and chicken."

"Here, just let me put the coordinates in...." He stopped halfway back, face intent and hair falling into his eyes as he worked.
