The human magic user X is back. He looks just a tad annoyed. He's in armor sitting in a Convinent Nexus Couch. Tango is on his lap and looks amused.

Also on the couch is a young teen with long blonde hair in a familiar pony tail. His armor is almost as different as X's armor in some ways, but it  seems to be patterned more after the Zero of the '

This Zero actually wears his hair loose more often than in a ponytail, so far anyway, and isn't currently in armor. And he has a green fire lizard perched on his sholder. The armor is different enough to where he might not have recognized or taken note of them - if it wasn't for the other Zero's hair. Curiousity about a possible, and very different, alternate prompts him to reply.

"That depends on if they're really overreacting, or if you just think they are," he says with a grin. He doesn't recognize the black wolf at all, since his world's Gospel looks like an artic wolf with the armor stored.

Emerald, the fire lizard, chirps curiously.

X blinks when he notices the othe Zero and then he smiles. "Oh, but he is over reacting!"

"Am not!" Zero does however look up from his sulk to gauge his alternate when he catches sight of him.

"Well yes you are." Said Treble, who can seem to resist speaking up. "He had a bit of a close shave back there, but he wasn't that serious, yet you act as if he nearly got killed or something!"

Zero turned faintly pink and tensed a bit like an irritable cat. His pony tail almost seemed to puff out just a little. "I am not!"

This Zero frowns a little. "What happened?"

It's directed more at his alt than X, since it sounds to him like X got into a dangerous situation, was hurt, and isn't taking it seriously.

The Zeron the couch rolls his eyes. "We were fighting a Lost Logia who had gotten loose in a civillian neighbor hood and X over there almost got himself buried under rubble saving some kid."

"It wasn't that bad!" X protested.

"You had to go in to the medic wing to have your head looked at. It could have been worse if you hadn't got that shield."

"But, I've been hurt way worse than that!"

"Don't remind me. You need to be more careful!"

Treble and Tango were now both sniggering, as the two continued to argue.

"It depends on who," says another X, one that arrived with the recent Zero. "I don't think I've seen my Zero overreact to anything yet, but I think I'd tell his brothers. They're older, so they might know what to do. At home, if it's Rock, I tell Roll. She's not older than Rock, but she doesn't overreact to some things as much as he does."

X perked up when he noticed his alternate. Zero also looked up, but didn't say anything.

"He doesn't exactly have any older brothers to tell. Just a younger brother, but they don't talk much anyway."

That gets a curious blink from this X. "He doesn't? None at all? My world's Zero has a lot of brothers, but no younger ones. We even have some brothers the same! Like Blues."

Zero shook his head. "Nah... Well... Sorta, but he doesn't count and he's dead anyway."

X gave him a look at this, but it was obvious Zero didn't want to go into that.

"That depends on if they're really overreacting or not," Copy said. "Have you asked him why he's so concerned?" Copy's question may have been directed at X, but his attention kept flicking to Zero.

"Well, I did get into a bit of a scrape during a mission, but it wasn't that bad."

"'A bit of a scrape' he says." Grumbled Zero. "Sometimes I can't believe you, calling nearly getting crushed by fall debrise "A bit of a scrape.'"

"I wasn't about to get crushed by anything. There wasn't that much of it and I did get my shield up." X insisted.

"Yeah, but you still got hit by something." Zero pointed out.

"Did you get hurt badly?" Copy wasn't about to side with either X or Zero until he'd heard the entire story. Once again, his gaze drifted toward Zero, although if anyone was paying attention, they might notice he was really focusing on the back of Zero's head.

"How long was he 'overreacting'?"

X and Zero were too busy being huffy to notice what Copy was looking at or else Zero would have asked what was so interesting about him.

Tango was the one who answered the questions. "He suffered a mild concussion. The Doctor forced him to rest for about a week and it's been about a month and a half since that mission and Zero still hassn't completely left him alone, though he's not as irritated as he was."

"I'm not irritated." Zero said irritably.

Man while a not quite Peter Parker is up in a tree near the couch listening to the various sounds and goings on in the Nexus, when he notices X and Zero. He lowers himself upside down by a webline.

"What's he overreacting, or not overreacting, about?"

"I kinda slipped up during a mission little while ago and he won't leave me alone about it." X scratched the back of his head sheepishly, regarding the Not Quite-Peter's entrance with curiousity.

"The silly boy was distracted helping some kid who got caught in the crossfire during a fight, didn't see the debrise coming their way and only just managed to get a sheild up in time to block most of it. A sizable chunk got through and managed to give him a mild concussion. He nearly colapsed as soon as the fight was over and had to stay in the medic ward for about a week." Tango explained. "Zero reacted by acting a bit like he got hurt worse than he actually was and hasn't quite gotten over it yet. He's better than he was though. Now mostly he's just sulking."

X winced at being called silly and at the story. Zero seemed rather annoyed at the rest.
"Stupid cat. I am not sulking." Zero sulked.

"So you're complaining about something that happened while he was rescuing a kid?"

Zero snorted. "It's no excuse for not paying attention to his surroundings. It could've been much worse."

"And it wasn't." X pointed out.

Forte seems a bit puzzled at the new and strange looking people. They seem familiar, but she isn't sure why. So here she is to check things out. She's currently in armor, seeing as her older brothers don't want her out without it, no matter how much she complains. "I don't know. I've been trying to figure that out since I was activated by my brothers. I'm almost a year old. I don't need babysat anymore. Just because I get into trouble occasionally..."

Gospel approaches the strange wolf warily.

"Yeah. I know what that's like. He's not the only one either. Dad can be like that too and I'm 15."

"Which is still rather young by human standards." Tango pointed out. "That's why you two are still "special cadets" when you could have very well made S rank by now."

Zero watches the girl. Trying to place exactly why this girl reminds him of someone and sge reminds him off.

Treble looks up curiously as Gospel aproaches, but other wise doesn't do anything.

Gospel growls, asking who the wolf is, but in an encoding that generally non-mechanicals can't understand.

Forte frowns. "I don't have any parents. Just a lot of brothers. And they're all older than me, so it's even worse."

She watches Tango in confusion. "I didn't think cats could talk. Are you LOLed? I was LOLed into a talking bird before."

"Treble." She answers. "And you would be?"

"That must be rough. All my siblings are younger than me, but Roll's always complaining about being the youngest, so I have some idea about what you mean." X tried not to baby her as much as he could because he knew she didn't like it, but it sort of hard.

"I'm not a normal cat." Tango answers simply.
