"Well, I've been a Jedi thanks to an LOL for a few months, and the LOL shows no signs of going away anytime soon. Haven't heard of anyone being LOLed for a year though."

Enzan gave an odd frown, "That's good to know. Someone important to me may have had an LOL for over a year. It's hard to take in. So I am hoping it is something else."

"What... what happened?" His alternate didn't have a net navi, what was he doing with a PET?

This was bad.

"Enzan..." He struggled to keep himself from crying and held the PET out to show him, "I woke up this morning and found this where Blues' sleeps."

There in the screen was something that should be a familiar sight to both Enzans, but one that has not been seen for some time. A navi in red and white armor and a purple and black jumpsuit was visible on the screen, standing with his hands behind his back. As the older Enzan turned the screen to the younger's view, the Navi looked up.

"Hello, Enzan-sama," Blues greeted Enzan in a subdued voice.

Enzan stared for a moment. Just what he needed, angst for his birthday. He couldn't help thinking that, even if he felt guilty for doing so.

Then he just hugged his alt, tightly. "I have a few sustainment chips. They won't make it permanent, but they'll work until I can get you the technology to give Blues complete freedom."

Has she met this guy before? He looks familiar.... 'I was a snake for about a month, but I think I might have influenced it. Haven't heard of one lasting *that* long yet.' She's thinking, though.

Enzan didn't seem to recognize her at all if the two had met.

He blinked, seeming interested, "Influenced? How so? Why do you say that?"

'I can influence magic, energy patterns, things like that. Hard to consciously work with LOLs, but it's possible.' She's matter-of-fact.

"Oh." Enzan seemed to sulk just a little, "That's interesting, though. I wonder if anyone else has made that discovery if they can influence magic."

"The longest I've had was around a month. I've heard of longer."

"A month? Hmm. What was the LOL if you don't mind me asking?"

"It was actually two LOLs piled on each other. The gender flip only lasted a week, but I was human for about a month."
