There are a teenage boy and a little girl playing in the Nexus.

The boy has a white ball that he throws high. If one didn't know better, they would say he was doing somthing to make it fly like that. "Brother Joseph took all the kids aside once and held up one big, stout stick and a dozen smaller ones. He asked which was stronger. Well, the big one, right? He used the big stick to snap one of the smaller ones in two."

"So, you stay alone, you get strong, and you can crush the others without a second thought. But he then took the remaining sticks, bound them together with bark, and smashed the bigger log. Big as it was, it was rotted inside. It could smash one stick, bou together, smaller sticks smashed it!"

Alexander smiles and waves. His little sister mimics his actions.

"That's a pretty good illustration." Alexander kneels down to the girl's shoulders. "Marie, this is a friend of mine. Her name is Aurora. When she is on the job, you call her Fauna." He grins back up at Aurora. "This is my little sister, Marie Logan."

Marie shys behind her brother's leg. "Hi."

It's the boy from before! See Marie actually not go running for her brother's legs or behind a couch.

She may actually have just approached Namor a little even. " 'Ello! Me too!"

Alexander nods and seems a little amused by his sister's behavior. "I think so as well."

He grins. "That's good. You'll be very strong someday, I can see it."

"Having something or someone to fight for always makes you stronger. Like a soldier who fights to protect his home, versus a paid mercenary. The soldier will fight harder."

He nods in agreement. "I know. The times I've had to fight to protect this little bit have been the times I've pulled off more than I thought I had the potential for."

Marie is looking very proud until Alexander chuckles and gives a gentle tug on a strand of her hair. "He said someday, Baby Beast. You still gotta pull off transforming into adult mammals and then bigger things."

She lets out a very catlike hiss in response. "Brat."

Another laugh. "I know you are."
