I'm from a large city in the United States. I thought Paris was a bit cliched, but if the spouses want to go there I'm not against it. Actually, I haven't traveled much, either by myself or with them, so nearly anywhere would be nice.

Vell, sometimes iz nothing wrong vith a cliche.

As for the kitty, she got any reason to think you haf cream?

You're right. Maybe we will go to a cliched place, then choose another not as common place.

I'm not sure. Adult cats get sick from too much milk products, so we don't let her have cream.

Japan! *says a girl who could not be older then ten, who is fiddling with a large watch-like object*

Oh... Cats tend to start to like the one person who pays them no mind, cats're weird like that.

Japan sounds like a good option.

My wife says that cats like those who don't show them affection because in cat language, that's you showing quiet contentment and they want to be near that. It's a change from a dog showing overt love of their humans.

I wanna go there when I'm bigger.

Yup, and dogs're silly anyways so you should be happy your cat likes you.

He smiles. You should see if there's a way to go there now. Traveling can be a fun thing, no matter how big you are.

The cat has played favorites with the others in the house, so I guess it is good that she's giving me attention now.

"...Europe. Everyone should go to Europe at some time in their life."

Alured's contribution is "Ef! Efef!" He's reaching for Ephram while he says this.

I think we should. A tour all over Europe sounds wonderful.

Melting before the cute! Hello again, little one. He reaches out to take Alured's hand. No heart-melting here, no. Not at all completely charmed by those baby babbles.

"Where do your husband and wife want to go?"

Alured keeps babbling for a while, waving his hand (and Ephram's) around excitedly. He loves attention.

My wife wants to hide away in a cabin in the mountains. My husband says why travel when we can do what we're inevitably planning to do while we're still at home. The way he says it, he's intentionally provoking us to blush, and...no further plans get made after that.

Swiftly ending that comment before a real blush comes up, he grins at baby again. You're talkative today. It should be great when you do form words...

"I don't know Ephram. Everywhere I've been I had other things on my mind."

"The cat is plotting something. Trust me, all cats are evil."

Maybe you should go back to those places when you don't have other things on your mind, so you can enjoy them.

He chuckles. Don't let my wife hear you say that.

No, I think somewhere with human comforts...such as a nice large bed.

And get even worse than banishment to the couch? Clearly you don't know my wife's attachment to the cat.
