X is sitting on a nexus couch, looking relaxed and a bit amused.

"So, how many people around here actually feel their age? Or do you believe you're only as old as you feel?"

"That'd kinda depend on whose age rate I'm looking at. But yeah, I'd say a lot of it depends on your perspective of it."

"True. In a place like this, lifespan differences would vary greatly."

"So what's your perspective of it, Ginta?"

"I'd say... that how old you really are is a nice anchor for it all, given the experience and knowledge you gain but how you feel definitely affects it. There are some days I feel like a kid and others where I feel damned old and tired. So it's nice to have that core age to look back on. What's your view on it?"

"That's a pretty good way to look at things."

"For myself, my own chronological age doesn't really dictate how I feel, or look, for that matter. I'm always going to look this old unless I intentionally have my features changed. I'm a hundred and nineteen today, but depending on my mood, I still feel as old or as young as I felt over a hundred years ago. So my actual age isn't really an indication of how old I feel."

X smiled. "Besides, there's no maximum life-span for reploids. I may be the oldest, but how long I live is pretty open ended."

"Old as you feel. Now that would be nice."

"It would, at that. Just as long as mood swings didn't cause age swings. That could get awkward."

X tilted his head in curiosity. "I'm X. Would you happen to be Enzan?"

"One of the many."

[_megaman_x]

"I don't think I've seen many others around your age, though. Most of the ones I've seen around are older or younger."

"You new to the Nexus?"

"I feel older sometimes. An' younger others. 'M really only eighteen."

[_megaman_x]

"I think most people tend to feel older or younger at times depending on mood and what they're doing. I know I do." X smiles.

"'S true, 's true." Grinny.

[_megaman_x]

"I don't think we've met before." X smiles. "My name is X."

"I'm only several years old, technically, so... not really."

[_megaman_x]

X nods. "That makes sense. I know I didn't feel only a few years old when I really was that age."

He nods. "So, how old are you, sir?"

[_megaman_x]

"I'm a hundred and nineteen today." X grins.

[istopforgears]

"I only feel my age when we get some new blood in the workshop." Oh look, Douglas in the Nexus. Tis a miracle.

X chuckles. "Ah, but then you get to be the 'wise old man of the mech lab.' It can't be all that bad, can it?"

Douglas shakes his head, tsking while still looking amused. "I'd only be the 'wise old man' when I'm your age, X. And it's only bad when they think they know more then me then almost wreck a months worth of work in five minutes."

"Hey, I'm only a hundred and nineteen years young. That's not that old." Then X tilted his head slightly and grinned. "Does this mean I get to call you that when you're a hundred and nineteen?"

"I hope that doesn't happen often?" X frowned a touch.
