(no subject)
There seems to be a spot near the Sign that has been unofficially designated the Io Entry Point. If anyone happens to be watching that spot, a pinpoint of light appears on it, growing slowly. Once it hits roughly six inches across, four colored flashes of light spiral briefly around it, painting the outline of a figure in white and green and yellow and blue.
The outline, still slowly, forms into Io in full detail, rubbing her temples. Someone had a slightly rough time getting here tonight, it seems.
"Oh man, why have I been getting so many headaches lately?" She pauses, looking groggily up at the sign.
"Uh. OH. WAIT. That wasn't my question." She shakes herself slightly, straightening up and clearing her throat.
"So I'm probably gonna alienate most of you with this example, but I KNOW there are other geeks like me around here SO. Every so often I have a dream where I get to capture and train pokemon, and lemme tell ya, there's just something... carnally pleasurable about pelting balls at random critters in order to gain them as pets or companions. I know that came out sounding wrong and disturbing, but seriously, it's gut-instinct awesomesauce and I'm not sure why. 'Course, those're just dreams, even if a few of them might have been dreams in which I was projecting myself into a Pokemon dimension, and they fade. I'd love to have the opportunity to do something like that for real for once, despite the fact that I still fail at even getting myself to the Nexus physically."
"So what's something from fantasy or fiction or just flights of fancy that would normally be impossible for you, but that you'd give anything to experience?"
