As opposed to her usual sociable grin, Blackfire walked into the Nexus looking distinctly upset, no matter how much she tried to hold it in.

"How do you keep someone out of your life when you really don't want anything to do with them? Short of using force, I mean."

Duela wanders up to Blackfire.

"Uhm! Hi Blackfire! Uhm... well, why do you want them out of your life...? That'll help me answer the question..."

Blackfire sighed. "My sister. Terra tried to organize a little make-up chat between us, but she didn't understand everything. She meant well, but the chat didn't go well. And...I really just don't want anything to do with Starfire."

"I see... what did Starfire do? But... you don't have to tell me if you don't want..."

"She banished me from my home planet and took away my birthright. I'm the rightful ruler of Tamaran."

Avoid them as much as possible. And if you can, move away, and don't tell nobody where you're goin'.

"The problem with doing that is that I'd be leaving behind a lot of friends, too."

I guess then it just depends on how much ya wanna get away from 'em. I was kinda lucky, 'cause there's no one I wanted to see again.

"I can't disable them specifically for that person. I'd be missing out on contact with a lot of other people that I do want to talk to."

"Well, she lives in the same city that I do," said Blackfire to explain. "I've made friends that I want to stay in contact with, and I have a job, but unfortunately, this person happens to be in the town."

tell them either to stuff it or just keep away from them. *kickback shrugs* heh if life were simple those two would work. Then again life rarely is; the best you can do outside of using violence is to avoid them.

"That's what I've been trying to do. Unfortunately, a well meaning mutual friend recently tried to get us to reconcile our differences and it didn't go so well."

too bad you can't just smack the person your trying to keep away from upside the head and tell them to beat it. Heh I hate it when people meddle in things they shouldn't.
