"Today. In one of the more annoying contexts of the word." He looks unhappy.

"I'd prefer to avoid it, and I think killing people is a lot more efficient if they need to be kept away forever anyways."

"And... that's a tricky one. Do I still like them? Are we simply enemies due to politics, or is there some personal problems?"

"My apologies. Do you care to elaborate?" He gives Rhys his best 'I want to help' face.

"Very good points, on both accounts."

"Personal problems and politics both; they think you betrayed them, as to the personal, and you are on opposing sides as to the political."

"Well, saving the world brought some fame along with it. I could really do without that." Rhys pulls a face.

"Thank you. And hmm... I'd probably have them treated fairly well- kept secure, though. Until you have a reason to release or kill him."

Revan smiles, but he's definitely sympathetic. "No good deed goes unpunished, as they say. You could always fake your death and go into hiding for a time, until things calm down?"

He nods thoughtfully. "Secure is a given; they are fairly high-profile and I would be very cross if someone happened to kill him." The tone on 'very cross' suggests that 'pissed off and forced to go on a rampage' might be better substituted.

"I hate faking my death. I'm just going to go spend some time in Ireland." He laughs. "Hopefully things weren't as broadcast over there."

"That would be inconvenient. Can you ransom him? Would you want to?"

"Face it, Rhys. The cameras are everywhere. You cannot hide from them," he teases, grinning.

"I was considering ransoming him, actually. I simply have to decide what to ransom him for." He pauses. "It is not that I want to, so much as do not want to kill him."

"I suppose I do have the sort of face that the cameras love," he smirks.

"That's understandable, if you were friends once. I would have a hard time killing any former friend of mine."

"So long as the cameras are not taking mug shots, eh? Would you like me to throw in some incredibly flattering remark about your undeniable charisma?" The smile gets a bit lopsided and rogueish.

"I think many people would. What would drive you to do that, if I may ask? To kill a former friend?"

"Well, you don't have to, but my ego can always use a little stroking from people who actually know me." He smiles back, with a touch of wryness.

"If they'd done something I couldn't forgive and they couldn't give me a good reason for it."

He laughs. "I never claim to know anyone, Rhys. You are still a mystery to me."

"You are more mild in that regard than I am, I think." He pauses and motions to the empty spot next to him on the couch. "Would you care for a seat?"

"Well, know me better than some twit who's seen me on a television screen and nowhere else." He laughs and sits where indicated.

"I probably am. I tend to be a little overly loyal when it comes to people I'm actually attached to."

"Okay, fair enough. I can safely say I know you better than some twit who has only seen you on television," he chuckles. "As far as your charisma, I can safely say that you would have given me a run for my credits in leading the Jedi to war." He grins. "I likely would have ended up following you, in fact."

He smiles and gives Rhys a shoulder nudge. "I will not count it against you, since I can appreciate loyalty in others."

Rhys laughs. "That's terribly flattering. I haven't led anyone to war in a very long time. Since... the six hundreds? It's been a while." He shakes his head. "Ah, charisma. The bane of my existence, and yet it's so very useful."

He nudges back. "Thank you. How sweet of you."

"Nothing would get done without the charismatic leading the charge." Revan rolls his eyes and smiles wryly. "Or maybe I am overestimating my own importance."

He inclines his head, and - you guessed it - nudges right back. "You are quite welcome, but I am simply being honest."

"I'm sure you're not. Your head seems to be on straight." He taps lightly on the mentioned body part. "And you're right. It's very true."

Nudge war! "Being sweet and being honest does not negate the sweetness."

He ducks his head to the side a bit and laughs lightly. "I am glad we are in agreement, then."

He can keep this nudging thing up all day if he has to! "Oh dear. This is going to completely ruin my reputation as an evil bastard, isn't it?" Yes, he did just use a contraction. Hopefully the Nexus won't implode or something.
