Hrrn...

*He growls quietly to himself, grinding his teeth with a sound of metal scraping on metal. Though that answer is probably quite correct, it isn't what he wanted to hear.*

There seems little honor in interfering at thiss time.

*The statement is given grudgingly.*

Some of us don't know the meaning of the word, really... not literally, of course, I mean, Siren thought buying me that Dictionary was funny but I didn't... if you can do something, why wouldn't you? Making that decision is what separates "soldier" from "warrior," isn't it?

Thiss... venture... would risk much; a partial victory would be worrse than the status quo.

Hey, sure - just seems to me - and this might be the Autobot in me talking - that doing anything less than giving it your all makes you part of the problem, not the solution.

To speak at all may make the situation worrse.

Ali looks up at Dinobot, trying not to be overly disappointed that he is not, in fact, a dinosaur at the moment. "Well, it doesn't sound to me like you're having any trouble talking right now. What exactly is the problem?"

It iss not whether I can speak that is in doubt, but whether I should.

Starscream finally decided that flying made it much less likely that he would have another 'near squish' incident. Besides, walking was for ground-pounders.

A familiar shape--almost human-sized, but decidedly not human--catches the former Air Commander's optics. Starscream finds an open space and lands on his boot-thrusters. Once the jets whine down to where speech is actually audible, he turns his attention to whatever it is that Dinobot is talking about.

He tilts his head curiously. "Rather vague, don't you think? A few more details, like why are you reluctant to speak, and why you want to, might help when it comes to offering intelligent advice."

Starscream looks at Dinobot intently. "Is the entire crew of both ships here, then? Or their alternates? I keep tripping over you f--lot."

(( Mun wants to know--is this Dinobot a ghost or what? Because this Starscream *is* a ghost, though with a physical shell. ))

((Dinobot is definitely dead, but not quite a ghost per se. He has substance, and all the appropriate functioning parts, systems, and needs, but can't actually leave the Nexus by any means. He's in something of a limbo-state, and his stint in the Nexus marks the limbo between his death and (brief) resurrection. He makes no secret of his deceased state, though I leave it to you to determine whether Starscream can recognize it with a look.))

Starscream.

*Dinobot sneers.*

You couldn't even manage intelligent advice on betraying Megatron.

Starscream looks a tad miffed and folds his arms.

"I try to be helpful, and all I get is insults. What, exactly, did I do to you?" he says petulantly.

Starscream is actually wondering that. His memories of the events of his brief run-in with the Beast Wars crew are fuzzy, at best. He remembers personalities very vividly, but exactly who did what to whom is rather vague for him. Something about not having his own memory banks to store memories in at the time...

(( So does Revenant-Dinobot notice that Starscream isn't as alive as he looks? Considering Screamer was a ghost the last time Dinobot met him in a conscious state... ))

*Dinobot's optics narrow, studying the dead Decepticon.*

You sseem to be in better health than the last time I saw you. Of course, anyone looks worse in Waspinator's body...

((As far as he can tell, Dinobot has only the sensors typical to his old body. If he has any greater senses than those, he hasn't noticed or explored them yet.))
