This tall gentleman is certainly looking assured of himself today.

Casting an amused glance over the assembled Sages, he leans back against a convenient Lamp-post and brushes his heavy black hair out of his face before shrugging and looking thoughtful.

"Will you kill for those you love?"

"Of course," he says instantly.

"Have you?"

He nods.

"Yes. And I would do it again, no matter what the law here says. It would be wrong not to."

"I think we could get along very well, you and I ..."

"Possibly. Why did you ask that question?"

[darknessblazing]

"because I'm curious as to how many people are actually willing to do it."

He looks a bit puzzled.

"Isn't everyone?"

"Surprisingly, no."

[cygnus_nikki]

He blinks several times.

"...Then they are weak and their loved ones probably die." The confusion comes back. "Don't thy know that? At the very least, you have to try, even if you ultimately fail."

Shrugging, Blaze shook his head.

"You'd think they knew that, wouldn't you?"

"But they don't, or they rely on others to do it for them."

He looks less than impressed.

"....And we have to protect them." *sigh*

"Annoying, isn't it? But yes, yes we do."

He shrugs and quirks a wry half-smile.

"Something to do, anyway. Good practice."

"True enough -- and if everything went to hell, I'd never get any work done."

[cygnus_nikki]

He chuckles at the 'went to hell' comment.

"...Yes." A smile.
