This tall gentleman is certainly looking assured of himself today.

Casting an amused glance over the assembled Sages, he leans back against a convenient Lamp-post and brushes his heavy black hair out of his face before shrugging and looking thoughtful.

"Will you kill for those you love?"

"Of course."

"It's always pleasant to hear from a voice of reason."

He nods, and smiles slightly.

"And no hesitation? I'm flattered."

Ginta shrugs. "Gotta protect your own, right?"

His brows knit together. "Flattered? I'm not sure I get why."

"Exactly."

"Because too many people are either afraid to act, or else they won't admit to it."

"Well... okay, I'll admit that sometimes the problem people are too big for me to kill on my own and it's hard not to be afraid then. In cases like that its usually better to try something else, like retreat with the people you care about in tow, since trying to take the offensive might get multiple people killed."

He nods.

"Good tactics. I certainly can't fault your logic there -- I've done similar when working."

Ginta nods. "It comes in handy. Is your work usually dangerous enough to warrant that or--" He cuts himself off when he sees Enzan trying to get his attention. "Ah, 'scuse me for a second."

"Certainly."

And Blaze settles back to wait. For now, anyway.

"Ginta." It was a quiet attempt to get the youkai's attention.

He blinks and turns to where Enzan is standing. "Hey, Enzan. What's up?"

Enzan was far too busy looking at Blaze. "That's the man I tried to kill."

Ginta blinks. He looks at Blaze, then looks at Enzan. Blaze to Enzan; back and forth. Then he smacks one hand over his face and growls.

"Amaterasu on a fucking flaming runaway cart. You have got to be shitting me."

The curse almost made him smile. "I'm not. Be careful around him. He acts sane, but he isn't."

"He also has decent hearing."

Blaze chuckles, and gives the pair an ironic wave.

"Now, Enzan, why would I want to do anything to him? He's not involved in any of this."

"I'm sure I'll be fine, Enzan." Since the boy seems to be putting as much space between himself and Blaze as possible Ginta moves to stand in front of him a little bit. Maybe a physical barrier would help too.

"I haven't been directly involved, so far. Gotta say, I do care what happens to the kid, though."

Enzn just stayed silent. He had more friends than enemies here, but it wouldn't help to point that out.
