It hasn’t been very long since Hermokrates showed up in the Nexus, but he’s back with a question. He’s in the same toga as before and sprawled across a couch, looking very uncertain of himself.
“How would you explain to a… a very powerful entity that has been terribly kind to you recently that you have... doubted their existence for a number of years?”
After a slight pause, the ex-sailor adds, “What sort of excuses work on your relatives and friends in connection to this place? I’m afraid my daughter and son-in-law would think me insane if I mentioned any of this.”
