A gate flicks open in the center of the available space, and out drops a figure--short, slender, apparently female, and decidedly redheaded. Changeable eyes glare around the room, seeking possible culprits.

"All right. What bloody fresh hell is this?"

"What--or where--is the Nexus and are you responsible for diverting my transit?"

"The Nexus is a sort of meeting place of all dimensions, and no, I'm not. But I welcome you here! I hope you enjoy yourself. It's a great spot!"

"I was really looking forward to a shower and a warm bed, so I don't know about enjoyment right at this moment. Sounds interesting, though. What do folks do here?"

"Oh! There are showers and places to sleep here! Come, I'll show you!" Death beckons. "And people ask questions, mainly."
