Revan is in Generic Jedi Master Robes (dyed black, of course), his hair tucked behind his ears and his neck covered in bite marks. He's cradling a black and white checkered Gizka in one arm, scratching behind its ear nubs with his free hand

"Oh, how cute!" Cute things will almost inevitably get Ali's attention, and only moreso while she's pregnant. "What are they called?"

Revan smiles. "Gizka. They are very well-behaved and affectionate." As if for emphasis, the one he's holding bounces and squeaks at Ali. "And they are surprisingly good around children."

"That's good." Considering she's very obviously hugely pregnant right now and all...

"What do they eat?"

He noticed that, otherwise he probably wouldn't have mentioned the children thing.

"Plant matter of any sort. Occasionally insects. But they do not need much in the way of food; I have seen them easily survive in barren wastelands and jungles both."

[jumpyspringy]

*He grins at the critters, but doesn't seem interested in taking one.*

I've heard of stranger things than falling from that kind of height and not being hurt, but the suddenly uniting thing would take some doing.

"That is as I thought; lately that sort of thing has been happening to me. Though I cannot complain, as it has all been good for me." He shrugs. "I just find it very odd, as there is truly no explanation for the latter."

I can't think of a one. Unless maybe a messianic figure of some kind.

He chuckles. "Certainly not that. We do not have those, unless you count the Sith'ari, and I am most assuredly not that being."

"What are they?" the hooded man asked, looking at the Gizka.

[prodigalsith]

Revan looks at the man, idly scratching his Gizka's chin. It purrs. "Gizka. Not quite the brightest creatures, but good pets nevertheless."

He tilts his head to one side, considering the possibilities.

"What do they eat? And ... can they be trained to hunt?"

"Vegetation for the most part." At the second question he raises an eyebrow. "I would pay a great deal if they could be. If you plan on using a beast for hunting, I would suggest Kath Hounds, or Bomas if you are looking for something less intellegent."

A beaten-up Vincent Valentine walks into the Nexus, next to Revan. Vincent's wearing more than his usual outfit. Bandages cover most of his face and his jaw's wired shut, behind his high collar. He looks at the Gizkas.

((Can you make a black one with silver spots make cute noises at him? He's lonely, but I don't think he'd buy one unless it seemed to like him a lot.))

((Sorry. Um, I mean take one home.))

Revan looks over at him, apparently unfazed. He wonders how the other guy looks.

In the meantime, one of the smaller Gizkas, a runty little black thing speckled with silver, notices Vincent. It hops up and down and makes a burbling noise, followed by a squeak.

Vincent looks at the little Gizka. He seems to be thinking.

Aww, they're kind of cute. Though Danni should probably ask what they are first. "Uh, well, what are they anyway?"

"As for the second question. Yeah, that's not very possible to not break your arm doing that. And if the groups fighting against eachother in my world unite I'll be laughing. A lot."

Revan's always happy to answer questions. He flashes Danni a winning smile. "These are Gizka, a very popular and hardy pet from my universe."

"That is what I thought I would do, but it happened and has left me very confused." He shakes his head, holding out the arm that isn't full of wriggly Gizka. "I did just that. Inordinately lucky things have been happening to me of late, and I wanted a few opinions on them."

Well, she can't help but grin a little. "Gizka huh? Well, what are they usually used for anyway?"

She pauses for a moment, watching his arm like it was going to magically break or something. "That's... really odd. But, it could be some weird Nexus thing... I can't really give much more information than that."

He scratches the checkered one's chin. It purrs and squishes the fabric of his sleeve under its toe-pads, wiggling its little tail. "Companionship, for the most part. They are good for people who do not have much luck keeping pets alive, since they do not eat much and leave very little to clean up. If one has the patience, they could theoretically be trained to track things."

Nope, his arm stays firmly in one piece. "If it is some weird Nexus thing, I have no complaints about it. It is much more... comfortable than the last Nexus effect I underwent."
