I dropped back into the Nexus, a confused look across my face-and it wasn't because of what just took place back in Gotham.

"I'm just gonna cut straight to the question that's been on my mind this entire month: what do you do when a certain number of girls-that you personally know-are attracted to you? How do you choose between them?"

Looking tired due to injuries, and slightly confused herself, Jubilee sighs softly. "Choose the one you spend more time with, the one from your dimension who is your teammate and your close friend. She has the advantage anyway, being able to be there more than the other one."

"Besides..." she crosses her arms, "I am sure the other one will be fine either way, and you shouldn't worry so much."

oh yes, the double sayings tell her feelings very well.

Crossing my arms as well, I allowed a sigh of my own to be heard before looking at her.

"It's gotten...a bit more complicated than just a triangle. And, how can I not worry about hurting a friend who's just as close to me as hurting the other one?

"What happened to you, by the way?"

"Did another girl enter the problem or something?" Jubilee looks at him with concern and worry in his eyes.

"You do not have to worry about hurting me, if I am still part of the problem. I would be happy even if we just stayed friends, I just want to see you happy."

"I... uh... sort of got shot. Three times."

"You got shot?! How?"
