*Auspex hears her name, and approaches slowly, looking rather drained herself, and perhaps even a little wary* I am here, Perceptor. I spoke to Cureall; I'm very pleased that you confided in her.
He cannot seem to meet her optics, especially with as battered as she looks. He opts for staring at the ground by her feet instead, his hand in Cureall's starting to tremble just a little.
"I am sorry," he offers without preamble. "I was unforgivably rude, and... and cruel. You did not deserve to be rebuffed so harshly, and I am sorry for the distress I have caused you." He pauses long enough to dart a quick look at her face.
"I... I understand what you were attempting to convey to me. I was too absorbed in the sensation of my distress to understand, or to care," he admits shamefully. "And I apologize for abandoning you in the forest. It was cruel to leave you without a guide."
No... I did ask you to tell me what you felt, and you... chose an excellent example to illustrate your disconnected feeling. *She smiles faintly* I am still recovering from the idea.
I knew why you left, and I'm sorry I had to push you so much, to remember and describe all that you did; you did well to stay so long. But sometimes, one needs a close friend to confide in, rather than a priestess. *She gives them both a rueful smile* There are still things I would like to ask, but (if you are even willing to answer), you probably feel the need to rest first. *A sympathetic smile, this time*
*she hesitates* Well... Primus guided me back to the Nexus, and I could go back home from there. It's all right; you were distressed.
