Okay, I want information. Nexus is a good place for information, right? Right. So, I wanna know what Peter Pan Syndrome is and who the pirate guy with a hook instead of a hand is. I also want to know if "Peter Pan" is a real person and if there's any of him around here ( Read more... )

((THOUGHT YOU COULD SHAKE ME, HUH??))

Um...I THINK Peter-Pan Syndrome is when you cling to childhood or things pertaining to it. Peter Pan himself is from a story, at least where I'm from.

Depends, how much would they hurt me? *smirk*

((*shakes fist* Curse you! The Intarwebz are not big enough!))

*tries to stifle a snicker, fails miserably* So if an evil pirate has Peter Pan syndrome, that means he's just a big kid? I've never heard that story.

Weeeeell, in the Nexus, it doesn't matter, right?

((*stalker*))

*blinks, puts two and two together* Oh, geez, Captain Hook? XDDD Wha-where'd you hear about this?

Yeah, but they can delay revenge for when you're outside the Nexus.

((Oh noes! Time to call in the Internet lawyers!))

Oh, so that's his name? Did he call himself that after he got that hook, or was he always called that? *leans in as though to whisper, but is loud enough that others nearby could hear if they wanted* He wrote it on his forehead that he's got Peter Pan syndrome.

What if they don't know how to get to your world?

Not even if they're jerks?

"Never ever. 'Specially if'n they threaten you." Oh she had experience with being threatened and having threats connect rather painfully.

It's a book, isn't it?

Netto. *gestures to his arm* You really think that's a good idea?

If it is, I never heard of it before.

He can't hurt me here, Enzan. *grins*

You'd be amazed at what can hurt.

As far as I know, it's a movie. I saw it when I was younger.

*looks amused* Here, maybe. But outside an anti-violence field, it could be a bad idea, because often the people who make threats would actually do it.

Oh? What's it about?

That's exactly how I feel about it! Only, sometimes I bug people even if there's no anti violence field, 'cause I know I can protect myself if me an' Rockman cross fuse.

An island of lost boys who never have to grow up. Peter Pan's the leader, and he fights the pirates and wins repeatedly. There's also a few other kids and a fairy called Tinkerbell. I think you'd like it.

Just be careful. There could be people out there who are stronger than you, even while you're cross fused. *has already recieved the explanation from En-san about what it is*

Cool. I'll have to see if I can find a copy of it.

I don't think I'd wanna stay a kid forever. Maybe a little longer than normal, but I think I'd get tired of people treating me like a kid.

I'm always careful, LC. *cocky grin, such a lie*

There is laughing! And flitting! And possibly airborne cavorting, but we can't tell for sure! A leaf, however, flutters down from somewhere and sticks with determination to Netto's shoulder. And a boy covered somewhat artfully in leaves and leathery bits follows it, to an extent, almost landing on the ground next to him and peering curiously.

"Someone threatens to hurt me all the time! Bugging him is great fun. What's a syndrome?"

*watches in awe* *has never seen someone do that before* *snaps out of it when Peter asks his question* Oh, uh, it's.... *darn it, he doesn't actually know what the word means* *scratches the back of his head* It's a mental thing?

How'd you do that?

Reply

cuckadoodledoo September 19 2006, 20:17:09 UTC
"Mental?" Most people would find such a huge grin slightly unsettling. "That means the brains, right? So I get in people's brains? Maybe I'm a brain thief!" The concept amuses him greatly, and he laughs as he lifts off again and circles over the other's head. "How'd I do what?"

*grins* I don't think you can steal people's brains, but messing with them is fun! *points up at Peter* I mean that. How're you doing that? Do you have technology that lets you fly?
